UNFPA Timor-Leste and the Ombudsmen office for Human Rights and Justice (PDHJ) conducted workshop on Data Analysis for the Country Assessment Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights to PDHJ's staff on 22-24 June at Maubara. Objective of the workshop were to mproved capacity for data analysis to advance gender equality and sexual reproductive health and rights, and to provide key inputs to development of the draft country capacity assessment report.
The workshop was focused on four thematic areas: Maternal and Child Health, and Family Planning; Gender Based Violence; Comprehensive Sexuality Education and; Prevention and Treatment of HIV/AIDS/STIs (Sexually Transmitted Infections), and Reproductive Tract Infections (RTI). The next step are report writing, finalizing and approval on Country Assesment Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights by PDHJ. The final report is expected to be ready in October 2016. ***
