Dili, Timor-Leste- “To finally discuss the differences between gender and sex, the gender stereotypes, fertility cycles, and the different body parts of boys and girls, makes me very happy because we are breaking the taboo of discussing these important and sensitive issues,” said Clotilde Soares da Silva, a municipal trainer from Ainaro.
Today, 22/04/2019, UNFPA together with the Ministry of Education( MoE), and National Institute for Training of Teachers and Education Professionals (INFORDEPE) officially opened the week long training of trainers on CSE. The training will focus on, ‘the difference between gender and sex’, ‘changes during puberty’, and ‘knowing my body’.
